My relationship with Jesus is based on his seeking me and through this grace I am opening up to his many blessings. I have been exposed to the Bible for years but it never really made a lot of sense so I put it down and read it only occassionally. However, about six months ago I heard about the family radio school of the bible and that it was free. I knew God put that in front of me, so I signed up. It has brought new meaning to my life and my scripture reading. This weekend, studing my lesson on one of the Old Testament prophets I experienced a connection with Jesus that I never have had before. It just seemed like every where I turned I was exposed to the wonderful goodness that only a relationship with Jesus could give us humans. I hated to see Monday morning come for fear of losing this connectivity. I remember James sermon yesterday however, that the Kodak moments are not the whole journey and that as wonderful as this was, I need to be open to the everday where Jesus is also. I just wanted to let others know that with lots of preservance I am really starting to understand what Jesus was telling us. I realize this preservance is not of my own will, but his calling and his strength.
