The book of Job has been a source of conversation, consternation, and hope in suffering for more than 2000 years. Over the next 5 weeks, we will search with Job for answers (maybe just better questions?) to our own struggles and suffering. What do we expect from God? What does God see in us? How do we find a way through suffering (not to be confused with a way around suffering)? The timing for a conversation about Job seems right in light of the pandemic and the uprising in response to racial injustice. What can Job teach us? This week we get introduced to Job in Job 1. Join us online-only for our struggle with the text.
