3/25 Worship- Taking Jesus Seriously: Healing and Learning

Mark 7:24-30. Jesus is traveling outside of Israel proper when he runs into a woman who needs a healing for her daughter. Apparently, she’s not a Jew so Jesus is reluctant. However,  Jesus’ reluctance turns to learning, healing, faith, and hope. Can we take this Jesus seriously? This Sunday we will discover another human encounter with Jesus and a new challenge for us to grow in our love for this man, in some ways not-so-very-different than us.
