Focus Your Mind

Attention. What is that draws our attention? What is it to which God would like us to bring attention? Here in Philippians 4 we begin to see what Paul thinks it should be. He is drawing a conclusion and with the word "finally" he delineates the places of God's interest. Read the following text and see what we'll be taking up on Sunday.

Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy. 9 Keep to the script: whatever you learned and received and heard and saw in me—do it—and the God of peace will walk with you.
